What will my general doctor do after my miscarriage?

Counseling: Most providers will give support to the patient after miscarriage. They may direct the patient to a bereavement group. They will counsel the patient about the possible causes of miscarriage , and review any pathology findings. They should discuss the timing for future pregnancy and give advice on anything the patient can do to prevent another loss.
