Many: Dear sophia, although I do not practice chinese medicine, i refer patients to such consultants all the time. Western medicine looks for a direct cause and effect relationship. Chinese medicine looks for much more subtle imbalances. I have seen impressive results with asthma, allergies, dermatitis, amongst many other conditions. It is very helpful for a variety of chronic conditions. Pejman k.

Chinese medicine: Takes a different look at health conditions, assessing hot ; cold, yin ; yang, deep ; surface, and empty ; full. Chinese medicine is often effective for chronic conditions. Western medicine uses fast acting medicine and is wonderful at high tech views inside the body. Some call a combo of both intelligent medicine. Check out the chinese practitioners background. Extensive training is needed.
