Is kombucha useful?

Uncertain: Kombucha is used as a tea for many indications, such as memory loss, and to strengthen the immune system. Topically, it is used for pain relief. There are no studies to support it being effective for either use.

Kombucha: Kombucha is an effervescent fermented beverage made of cultures of bacteria and yeast. It may help to bring about healthy GI tract microorganisms. I don't believe that there are many rigorous scientific studies on Kombucha. Keep serving size small if you have blood sugar problems.
