Have puberty yet?: If you have not yet started puberty (no breast development, etc.), then it is unlikely you would get a period without some medical support. If you have started puberty, then there are a few reasons you may not have had a period--some correctable. It is important for your doctor to explain his/her thinking and what the diagnosis is. You may need a test (like an ultrasound or karyotype).
