Is there a non-prescription way to clear up toenail fungus?

Yes: There are a number of essential oils that are anti-fungal, including tea tree, lavender, and eucalyptus. An online search will find some good combinations of these. The key is persistence! no matter what you do, it can take months to clear it up. Soaking the nails in straight hydrogen peroxide can also be of help.

Poorly effective: Over the counter or non-prescription medications for toenail fungus are prevalent. However in my opinion, poorly effective against the infection. There are many medications directed to softening the toenails and improving the appearance of it. This does little to cure the fungus. There are few exceptions out there. Look for a medication with an active ingredient against fungus. Please remember, t.
