How old are you?: Is your bmi 30 or above and if you've been unsuccessful with diet and exercise alone, it would be reasonable to add appetite suppressants to a physician supervised program of proper nutrition and adequate exercise. It also depends on other health conditions you have and medications you may be on. Side effects include increased heart rate, insomnia, dry mouth, constipation. Talk to your doctor!
