Caregiver drain: This can be both physical or emotional. It is important to take care of yourself, so you can continue to care for those you love. Make sure and get enough sleep, give yourself breaks, and try to keep things in perspective. It is important to tell the patient's physician about barriers you are encountering, as they may be able to recommend support services or medical interventions.
