Please elaborate: Please reformulate your question. I do not know if you are a paid caregiver or a relative of someone sick in your household. I do not know what medical condition is associated to the person being taking care. If the patient has a communicable disease (infection) there is some possibility of transmission but varies with the diagnosis. I do not know if you are referring to any legal issue either.

Caregiver burnout : Agree with Dr. Hernandez. Caregiving can sometimes lead to burnout. If you are the caregiver to a loved one / family member the risk may be higher. If you are the only source of care for someone who needs a great deal of help the possibility of emotional & physical exhaustion increase.
