Depends on typw: There is more than one types of motor neuron disease. There is of now no cure or reliable treatment for lou gehrigs diseases. There are some promising results with stem cells, which i think will ultimately be the answer to treating this disease. Multofocal motoneuropathy is treated with immune therapy. This can resemble lou gehrigs disease and is treatable.
