A, B, O, AB: There are 4 types of human blood - a, b, o, ab. There is also a rhesus (rh) designation: + or -. O- is generally the universal donor and ab+ is generally the universal recipient.

Depends: The major blood types are A, B, AB, and O; Rh positive or negative with each type. However there more than a dozen other blood group systems with each having multiple sub-types. With rare exceptions blood types are not cause of any disease.
