You should also check the credentials of any midwife performing home deliveries. The requirements to become a certified nurse midwife are vastly more rigorous and require more training than a certified professional midwife.

DO NOT DO IT !!!: I have seen on this website other women from your city asking this same question. No one can predict the future! you can be totally normal and have a normal pregnancy and have complications either before, in labor or after labor that could be a disaster if u are at home. Over the course of my career I have seen many horrible complications from home birth including fetal death and brain damage!
