How do i decide whether to have a home birth?

Many factors: There are so many factors here. Different conditions can increase your risk of bad outcome with home birth. Discuss your risk factors with your doctor. You should also check the credentials of any midwife performing home deliveries. The requirements to become a certified nurse midwife are vastly more rigorous and require more training than a certified professional midwife.

DO NOT DO IT !!!: I have seen on this website other women from your city asking this same question. No one can predict the future! you can be totally normal and have a normal pregnancy and have complications either before, in labor or after labor that could be a disaster if u are at home. Over the course of my career I have seen many horrible complications from home birth including fetal death and brain damage!
