Safe? yes; Good? no: The company that makes this excellent product recommends nothing by mouth for 15 minutes, including juice, which is often sought after by patients due to the very unpleasant taste of the medication. Any medication that is washed down the throat will be wasted and ineffective. One needs the 15 minutes to give ample time for the medication to be absorbed directly into the blood via mouth lining.
