Up to your surgeon: The choice of skin closure method is surgeon dependent. Many surgeons use skin staples, but more and more surgeons will use sutures under the skin and a medical "superglue" with steristrips to close their surgical incisions. Ask your surgeon re the pros and cons.

Ask your surgeon: The skin closure is the surgeon's choice, but i would go to someone who uses dissolving suture, as i think that that reflects more careful attention. I would recommend a total hip over a resurfacing however!
