Corn on toe: Basic problem that must be removed is pressure on the toes from poorly fitting shoes (e.g. Pointy toed high heels). Wear footwear with adequate toebox & compound w should do the trick of softening & removing corn. Caution: diabetics, people with poor foot circulation should not use such treatments as they can cause ulcers & lead to infections. If above suggestions don't work, see podiatrist.

Warts and corns : Are treated differently. Compound w may help if it is a wart but not if a corn. Corna are caused by excessive pressure or friction. If this can be eliminated then corn will resolve. Wart is a virus that must be destroyed. Occasionally warts can spontaneously resolve.

Corn: Compound w - or worthless as i call it - seldom works on warts. It certainly wont work on a corn . Additionally , I am amazed at how many doc's think shoes are the culprit. Corns are found on the toes of amazon natives that have never worn shoes. You need to see your podiatrist for help . Tell them your financial plight and work it out, but get the care.
