Why not?: Depends on 'what' your thyroid problem is and how far off your levels are. Uncorrected thyroid levels are bad for overall health, may hinder you getting pregnant, and may be associated with developmental delays in fetuses - why wouldn't you take the medicine?

High: If someone is of reproductive age and takes meds for a thyroid problem, there's a good possibility of pregnancy especially if the thyroid is well controlled.
