Leg pain: Leg pain usually refers to pain originating from somewhere between your pelvis and your heels. However, leg pain doesn't have to originate in your leg; spinal problems or injuries can cause leg pain that is felt in your leg but that actually arises in your lower back.

Thigh: The thigh is the upper part of your lower extremity between your hip and knee. Any pain within this region could be considered thigh pain. Possible diagnosis include fractures, stress fractures, muscle contusions or strains, referred pain from the back and hip to name only a few.
