EEG: Electroencephalography is recording of electrical activity along the scalp. It measures voltage fluctuations resulting from ionic current flows within the brain neurons (nerve cells). Some uses are for diagnosis of epilepsy, exploring causes of delirium, confirming brain death, and to determine whether to wean off of seizure medications.
