Call The Hospital: There are various levels of trauma centers. The er is only part of the trauma team. The main part of the trauma team are the surgeons who take care of the trauma patient. A level one trauma center will have surgeons and anesthesiologists in house 24 hours a day to take care of these patients. The er is primarily a stabilizing and triage center for trauma patients before they are moved on for defi.
