Probably not: Vaporizers are not used nearly as much recently as they used to be. Moist air can help children get rid of the mucus that collects in the chest with pneumonia, but it is not required. Running a warm shower will do the same thing. A major risk of vaporizers is that they can collect mold in the water pan, so they have to be kept very clean. Few parts of the us are so dry that a vaporizer is needed.
