Yes: Mycoplasma is a common cause of recurrent respiratory disease in kids. The infectious disease group i studied with years ago estimated that kids had at least 5 episodes by the age of ten. Many overlap in their symptom s with common bacterial causes of pneumonia and or wheezy bronchitis.
