Is there something i can feed my baby in order to prevent ivh?

No: If ivh is intraventricular bleeding, there is no dietary supplement or food that has been demonstrated to prevent the problem. Discuss firther options with your pediatrician.

Nothing special: The most important prophylaxis is seldom mentioned. The vitamin k shot baby gets at birth in most states helps build the clotting system & avoids early ivh in rare cases. It is rare outside the neonatal ICU where it does happen in premi's & can result from major trauma (auto/pedestrian etc.).
