Can chiropractic manipulation help with reducing seizure frequency in epileptics?

Possibly: I have often used osteopathic or manual medicine to treat not only headaches but some seizures as well. However i would use this as an adjunctive therapy in addition to antiseizure treatment to help with reducing frequency of symptoms.

No Evidence: The evidence is, despite their claims , is that chiropractic manipulaion does not slow down the occurance of seizures.

No: Seizures have their origin in the brain. Chiropractors have a discredited theory of disease causation with the spine as the center of illness. No spinal manipulation will alter the wiring pattern of the brain. You should be seeing a neurologist and there are some who specialize in seizures and epilepsy.
