A member asked:

How large can a liver get before it bursts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not a chance: Livers do not usually burst. Spleen, bowels, even your heart and lungs might. Livers may get very large and hard due to cirrhosis, cause abdominal swelling and stomach and esophagus blood vessels to enlarge and bleed, but it won't burst.
