Tests : There are several ways to evaluate the kidneys. It starts with a conversation with a doctor, then physical examination. There are several possible next paths: Labs tests, blood, urine, ultrasounds, CT scans, biopsies. After the history and physical testing decisions can be started. Sometimes you can get all the answers you need from labs tests, other times more testing is needed.
