Is there any degenerative brain diseases caused by liver disease?

It is caused by a build-up of ammonia from liver failure (eg cirrhosis). Some ailments such as alcoholism and wilson's disease that can cause liver failure are associated with degenerative brain diseases, the cerebral degeneration in those ailments is not directly from liver disease.
