Depends: Children and especially infants tend to have a faster heart rate than adults. The importance of bradycardia depends on how slow the heart rate is and on the cause. The heart rate varies in normal adults or children. So a slow heart rate may have no significance. Then again, a very slow heart rate may be a sign that something is wrong especially if associated with symptoms.
