What is the significance of coronary ischemia?

Blood flow limited: It means that the heart muscle is not getting enough blood flow to meet its metabolic demands to carry out the required activities. This usually connotes a narrowing ("blockage") in one of the major coronary arteries that supplies heart muscle with blood, and hence oxygen.
