Side effects, see dr: Flecainide has many side effects, shortness of breath is one of them. Suggest a visit to a cardiologist to verify that the heart is doing well. Just because something is a known side effect, doesn't mean it should be ignored or not be investigated.

See your doctor: Flecainide is used for irregular heartbeats. It can cause worsening of irregular heart beats as well, especially if there is a history of a heart attack. Such worsening could cause shortness of breath (sob). Signs of heart failure may occur with too much Flecainide in your system. The underlying irregular heart beat itself, not flecainide, could also cause sob. See your doctor for more info.
