Three: There are three coronary arteries feeding the heart. They are not much wider than spaghetti, so they can get clogged easily. They must provide continuous oxygen and nutrients to the heart which is the size of your fist and beats 100, 000 times a day every day of your life.

Many: There are major vessels: right coronary artery and left main coronary artery that divides into the left anterior descending artery and left circumflex artery. Each of these may have 3-7 branches that vascularize the heart muscle.
