A member asked:

Can you have a heart attack from a blockage in any of the three different arteries carotid, coronary or peripheral?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heart attack: The coronary arteries provide vascular flow to the heart and if obstructed can cause a myocardial infarction compromising the cardiac pump. The carotid obstruction would cause a stroke in the brain, and peripheral block in legs could result in gangrene
