What exactly is coronary artery disease or hypertension?

2 different things.: Hypertension means simply high blood pressure. Blood moving through tight, inflexible pipes (arteries) is under more pressure than more flexible arteries. High blood pressure can lead to a host of diseases such as stroke and coronary artery disease (cad). CAD is clogging of the arteries that directly supply the heart itself which can lead to heart attack.
