Depends: In the most serious cases of blocked arteries, intervention(s): stents, angioplasty, rotoblador or surgery is necessary for revascularization or blocked coronary arteries.

How severe?: Lifestyle changes dealing with all your risk factors. Weight, smoking, LDL less than 100 md/dl or even less than 70 using statins meds, aerobic exercise, BP less than 130/80, dm control, avoid excessive alcohol etc. If symptomatic with CP and/or consider critical narrowing, revascularization with percutaneous approach vs open heart surgery for bypass following cardiology recommendation.
