"Could : "could it be broke". Did you fall or otherwise have a high-energy injury? If not then, no it cannot be broken. If it feels broken, that is probably a misinterpretation of the pain. Pain always triggers and sets off our "safety system", making us feels protective and causing us to prepare for the worst ("it feels broken"). It's interesting that you want a name. Humans crave control and i assume you feel that if you could name the painful bone that you could feel a soothing sense of control. I suggest that a visit to a hand surgeon is in order. He or she will likely tell you several things you are not expecting to hear. Even though most or all of them will be good news, just the fact that they are unexpected or counter-intuitive can make them a little unwelcome, so prepare yourself. Be ready for the "safety system" to have called "fire" when there is just smoke. Be prepared for something you find convincing ("it's broke") to be incorrect.

Cant : Cant tell you could it be broke but if it is sticking out and it wasnt before its not a good sign. Could you have a cmc fracture dislocation at the base of your middle finger metacarpal where the middle metacarpal meets the capitate..Perhaps get to see someone preferrably a hand surgeon or at least an er for names of some wrist bones see the link below.
