In : In your shoulder? Biceps tenodesis is usually done because the tendon of the biceps muscle going into your shoulder is damage. The tendon has to be released from inside the shoulder joint and secured to the bone outside of the shoulder using small anchors. Complications can occur and are rare. The most common complication involves injury to nerves around the shoulder. Surgery is successful about 85-90%.
