A member asked:

If i have multiple sclerosis, can i still get radiesse (dermal fillers)? if i have ms, is it safe for me to get any kind of fillers such as radiesse (dermal fillers)?

Unfortunately : Unfortunately there are no scientific studies that have addressed this question directly. I have used juvederm and Radiesse (dermal fillers) without event. I would recommend consultation with your neurologist prior to undergoing any injections. Be healthy and be well, james m. Ridgway, md.

I : I don't think there have been any studies looking at this specifically. You should check with your ms doctor to see what he or she thinks about having a Radiesse (dermal fillers) injection.

This : This is a good question. I know of no reason that juvederm is unsafe in this setting. However, i would defer this question to your treating neurologist. If he says it is ok, then i would proceed with treatment.

See no problem: The MS is not a contraindication.
