What are the similarities of aortic valve to pulmonary?

Very little: Both valves control blood flow (pulmonary to the lungs and aortic valve to the rest of the body). The pulmonary valve/circult is a low pressure circuit and the aortic valve is a high pressure circuit. When the valves close they make up the second heart sound.

Valves: Structurally and functionally the aortic and pulmonary valves are similar although the pulmonary valve sees lower pressures.
