Severe pain in my hip i have had this severe pain in my hip for 6 months, the pain is mostly near the groin area especially after getting up in the mourning or lying down watching tv.i have limited motion when raising my right leg but the left leg is ok.

I : I do not know your age or if you have any concomitant illness. If you have degerative changes this might be anought to give you pain . You should try excersises in a pool and Acetaminophen 1000 mg three times a day , an over the counter med and see if after two or three weeks you get better and keep the follow up with the ortho or consult a rheumatologist.
