If : If done at a reputable clinic, abortions are very safe, and do not cause a woman to be "sterile". Honestly there is no routine screening test for this. I know this must be hard, but move on with your life and try to put this behind you. One day when you are ready you will have a baby/family. For now make sure you are on birth control. Take care.
