It : It sounds like you may be dealing with uterine fibroids (benign tumors of the uterus). Fibroids can cause very heavy periods often times with many clots. Discuss your symptoms with your doctor. Uterine fibroids should be ruled out. This can be done with a pelvic/abdominal exam and/or ultrasound. Lastly, if ok with your doctor after a diagnosis is made, consider birth control pills to help regulate your period. Good luck.
