A member asked:

Is possible to make a sex change leaving the reproductive organs of the prior gender inside?

Not in Reputable Ctr: Gender reassignment includes the understanding of a need to have a way out if the patient has second thoughts. This is done in reputable ctrs by having one live as the other gender for at least a year with the aid of hormonal manipulation. Long term gender change requires the removal of internal structures that would make hormones that compete with the new gender and limit success of the change.

Yes: You can have the surgery and leave ovaries in place, but you will need to shut down the production of naturally occurring hormones by taking male hormones. Good luck from nyc.
