Does "patent and unremarkable" mean i have zero heart disease? this is how my blood vessels were described in an mri following a stroke. the mri was with both contrast and no contrast. i'm recovering well, but i'd like to know if "patent and unremarkable

Yes, : Yes, "patent and unremarkable" means normal. Patent just means open, so there was no blockages seen in your blood vessels. Unremarkable is exactly that- no abnormalities. Congratulations on the good news.

?wrong test: Are you sure you had a cardiac MRI for stroke workup? Mri of brain will not give you any information about cardiac blood vessels. Your report implies that your brain vasculature is normal, not your heart. Even a routine cardiac MRI would not give that information.
