The : The best product on the market for women with heavy flow and who don't want to take a pill is the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. Even in women without children this product is great. It has the hormone Progesterone in it. That decreases most women's periods to 2 days or less of bleeding. Some women even stop having a period. It lasts for 5 years, or can be taken out at any time if you desire to get pregnant.
