Dr : Dr fowler's info is good. Sperm can live at least 3 days in a woman's body, maybe up to 5 days or longer. You should be fine if you have intercourse 2-3 times a week when not on your period. Having intercourse before you ovulate is probably also good, as sperm are 'ready and waiting' when you release an egg. So your timing for this month looks great.
