Both r equally good.: The sperm cell can live up to 5 days in the genital tract and it only takes one sperm cell among the millions to fertilize an egg cell. Best of luck!

Definately: Before, after ovulation egg will survive 12-24 hours, sperm lives 5-7 days. It's a long journey through your reproductive system, intercourse the day of ovulation not likely to work. Have intercourse 4 days prior and 2 days prior, consider three days prior as well for good luck if it doesn't hurt. Best wishes.
