A member asked:

Sense i had my baby @ 41 my periods have been more regular, but i'm more crampy/bloated. i'm 45, could this be pre-menopausal? i'm 45 and had a baby shortly before i turned 41. since then my periods have gotten more regular and predictable than they were

There : There are several reasons why women have pelvic cramps. If your menses are heavier, that may be the reason for the cramps. Sometimes peri-menopausal women have heavier bleeding than they did when they were young. You many have adenomyosis, or an enlarged fibroid. It would be better to see a doctor to evaluate your symptoms fully and maybe get an ultrasound done to find the cause of the cramping.
