On : On most blood glucose meters this means above a sugar level of 600. That's high! i suggest giving your doctor a call right away. You will need an adjustment in your medication and should find out why your sugar went so high. Keep in mind that sugar on your finger when you tested can give a falsely high read and outdated test strips are not reliable. If you have type 1 diabetes you should check your urine ketones.
