Hives : Hives are in response to an allergic reaction. Are you taking any new medications? Eating new foods or using any new soaps, lotions, or detergents? Some people get hives when they have a panic or anxiety attack. Consider seeing an allergist for allergy skin testing for food and environmental factors. Also you must be a detective and try to figure out what new exposure is causing this reaction. Good luck.

Allergen avoidance: Hives are typically an allergic response. Common allergens (substances that cause allergic responses) include: pollen, pet dander, a variety of foods, insect bites, and substances in the environment. Evaluate any changes that could have occurred leading up to the hives appearing (e.g., a new laundry detergent with different chemicals in it). An allergy skin test may help you figure out the cause.
