DNA : Dna exists as both single-stranded and double stranded forms, with double stranded dna found as the genetic material in all animals and bacteria, and single stranded dna found in the genetic material in some viruses. Recently, quadruplex dna was found in telomeres, the regions at the ends of chromosomes. I don't think anyone has discovered a stable 12-plex (or dodecaplex) form of dna, but it an organism were ever found that did have it, it would probably be able to use 100% of its brain, just as organisms with double-stranded dna use 100% of their brains.
