This : This may represent a contusion of the eyelid (a focal collection of bleeding or bruise). However, it is often unusual for a focal "ball" to form it this setting - after the initial diffuse swelling, the blood seems to follow tissue planes and diffuse outward. Occasionally trauma in one region around the eyes can make us aware of an ongoing issue ("acute awareness of a chronic problem"). A lump in the eyelid can represent a chalazion or blocked oil gland. As has been mentioned above, tumors can develop in this region (usually benign). If this is present for another 2 weeks, i would have it evaluated by your local eye doctor.

Depending : Depending how long ago this happened, it may still get better on its own. Usually, this is just a bruise, and if it is thick enough to be a ball, it just takes time to go away. If it turns into a scar, then it can be removed with surgery if it doesn't look ok.
