Great option: With a high satisfaction rate and good safety record. However any surgery has risks and these should be understood prior to undertaking the operation. One implant is not necessarily safer; both entail some risks. Fat grafting now offers a whole new option.

Safe & Effective: All fda approved breast implants are safe and effective. Each type of implant has its own specific advantages and disadvantages, so you will want to discuss these with your chosen board certified plastic surgeon.

Both Saline/Silicone: Both types of breast implants available and fda approved in the United States are considered safe but there are pros/cons associated with each type of implant. Sometimes, depending on the patient's body type and goals, one breast implant type may be preferable. Best seek consultation with board-certified plastic surgeons who can demonstrate alot of experience helping patients in your situation.

Safe: Both saline and silicone implants are safe. The new silicone implants can be cut in half and the silicone will stay within its shell. The choice between different implants is a personal one. http://www.dassmd.com/breast-augmentation/index.html.
